About The Position

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an Entry-Level Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

BS in an Engineering discipline.
No direct experience required.
Must be able to work both independently and with a team.
Must be able to meet deadlines and coordinate with teammates to execute tasks.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Nice To Haves

Existing SECRET Clearance.
Co-op or internship highly preferred.
Problem-solving skills.
Experience in performing data analysis using programs such as MATLAB and Python.
Experience using Microsoft SQL Databases to query results to answer questions about the data stored in the database.
Experience in tool/script development.
Ability to learn how to clearly and concisely present data analysis to leadership and peers.
Familiarity with the Missile Defense Agency ground test program.

Responsibilities

Support the MDA DTGX Ground Test Truth team, performing product generation/delivery, pre-mission analysis, and post-mission data analysis.
Use existing MATLAB, Python scripts, SQL queries, and other internal applications to generate products and process large amounts of test execution data.
Documents and briefs analysis results for every supported Ground Test Event.
Explore ways to update/optimize our tools and processes.
