About The Position

This is an eighteen-month rotational training program designed to develop deep technical expertise in hydrogen production and basic air separation processes. The program includes a six-month technical training rotation in The Woodlands, Texas, focused on Hydrogen and Air Separation technologies, followed by a one-year plant engineering assignment. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups including Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Process Safety, Process Controls, and Operations to gain hands-on experience. You will take responsibility for supporting operational improvement initiatives, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to plant reliability and process optimization. Additionally, you will travel to multiple facilities across the United States to complete rotations while remaining flexible to relocation needs throughout the program. You will apply technical knowledge to real-world plant operations while receiving structured training, mentoring, and on-the-job development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Zero to three years of experience.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn complex processes and adapt to changing operational situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to build productive cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to contribute positively to team environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive tasks to completion, and deliver results with strong attention to detail.
  • Operate as a self-starter who works independently.
  • Participate confidently in project teams.
  • Apply problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel up to twenty-five percent to assigned facilities across domestic regions.
