Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Internship, co-op, or academic experience in electronics, embedded systems, or electrical design
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, including low-voltage DC and three-phase AC concepts
  • Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar
  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain (or already possess) a “Q” clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on project or lab experience in electronics design, testing, or troubleshooting
  • Exposure to manufacturing, R&D, or industrial environments through internships or coursework
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards such as NEC, IEEE, or ANSI
  • Interest in embedded systems or motor control applications
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow within a multi-disciplinary engineering team
  • Currently possesses a “Q” or “L” clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of control electronics, working alongside experienced engineers to bring systems from concept to reality.
  • Assist with creating design packages.
  • Run simulations using tools like PSPICE or MATLAB.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems in both lab and plant environments.
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines.
  • Contribute to technical documentation.
  • Support ongoing improvements to system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
