About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer based in Los Angeles, California. The engineer will develop analytic and design skills while conducting engineering design, preparing design documents, collecting and analyzing data, and using computer software to solve basic engineering problems. Work is performed under the supervision of an experienced engineer and in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules. The role works with hybrid and remote teams across the country, while the listed work location model is remote. Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Nice To Haves

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with CAD software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous internship, project, or co-op experience.

Responsibilities

Build analytic and design skills.
Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
