Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Engineer in Training Certification preferred
Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
Excellent work ethic and attitude
Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work

Nice To Haves

Experience with Revit, and MS Office preferred
Experience with lighting software preferred

Responsibilities

Develop electrical system designs for a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing electrical systems
Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
Writing/editing project specifications
Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
Code compliance research
Coordinating work with other disciplines
Performing QA/QC of design work
