About The Position

We are hiring an Entry-Level Charity Event Assistant to help support nonprofit and charity events while creating meaningful experiences for donors and community members. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about giving back, community outreach, and event coordination . No prior experience is required —we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance to help you succeed and grow in your role. Position Overview As a Charity Event Assistant, you will represent nonprofit organizations at live fundraising events and community initiatives , assist with event logistics, and engage attendees by sharing information about impactful causes and programs. This is a public-facing, hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with a team to ensure events run smoothly and leave a lasting positive impression.

Requirements

• Entry-level role — no prior event or nonprofit experience required
• Positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for community service, nonprofit work, or fundraising
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-of event operations , including setup, coordination, and breakdown
• Greet and engage event attendees, donors, and volunteers professionally and warmly
• Share information about charitable missions, programs, and community initiatives
• Support fundraising and awareness campaigns at live events
• Adapt quickly to changing event needs while maintaining excellent donor engagement
• Collaborate with event coordinators and team members to ensure smooth event execution
