For 28 years, Audio Video Connections has been designing and installing high-end audio, video, smart home automation, structured cabling, security, and network systems across Northeast Oklahoma. We take pride in delivering clean, professional installations and working as a tight-knit team on projects ranging from luxury homes to commercial AV systems. Our goal is to be the best AV company in Tulsa by taking exceptional care of our clients and building lifelong relationships, not just making a sale for today. We believe great work, honesty, attention to detail, and treating people the right way are what set us apart. We’re looking for a Technician Apprentice, Entry-Level AV Technician, or Low-Voltage Technician who can handle basic install tasks and is ready to grow into a more advanced role in the custom integration, low-voltage, and home automation industry. You’ll be working closely with experienced technicians and installers who will guide and support you as you learn. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is eager to grow in the industry. You will not be expected to know everything on day one or work independently without support. Most days involve installing AV systems, home theater systems, smart home automation, surveillance cameras, networking equipment, distributed audio, and low-voltage systems in homes and businesses around the Tulsa area. This is hands-on work, ladders, attics, crawl spaces, and job sites are part of the job. You’ll be expected to handle basic tasks while supporting more experienced technicians on larger or more complex installs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a career as an AV technician, low-voltage technician, smart home installer, cable technician, field technician, or home automation technician. Smart Home Integration offers a tremendous growth opportunity for a variety of skill sets including sales, technician, project management, operations and more. According to CEDIA, the global trade association for the home technology industry, the most recent 2021 Integrated Home Market Analysis reports the estimated value of the integrated home market at $20.1B. Categories experiencing the most growth include lighting, motorized shades, lighting control, and networking. Smart Home Integrators offer careers in sales, operations, marketing, project management, finance, merchandising, purchasing, technical trades, and customer service. If you’re seeking to make an impact from the start of your career, spark impressive change, learn new or innovative skills, and most importantly, gain success in a field that rewards ambitious hard workers, a Smart Home Integration opportunity is for you! With the proper training and career road map, you can write your own ticket!
