MEI Group is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in automotive repair. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll perform routine maintenance, assist with vehicle repairs, and gain valuable hands-on experience while developing your technical skills. Requirements

• Basic automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical shop duties, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including occasional Saturdays as business needs require.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and verify authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in automotive maintenance, lube services, or personal vehicle repair is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
• Assist experienced technicians with mechanical repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in company training and continue developing technical skills.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
