About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Center in Greenfield, Indiana. Available roles include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash vehicles, clean interiors, and buff exteriors. Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments in the Inspection Center. Photobooth Associates photograph vehicles for customer-facing listings. Inspection Associates inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and identify imperfections or defects. Starting pay is $16 per hour. Two shifts are offered: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; or Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:15 a.m. Employees may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. The Inspection Center is at 6508 W FW Marks Dr, Greenfield, IN 46140. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The work takes place in a fast-paced production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
Be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing.
Move vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Center.
Photograph vehicles for customer-facing listings.
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
