About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring an Entry Level Assembler in Lincoln, Illinois. The position pays $20.49 per hour and is eligible for a variable incentive program. The regular hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with consistent overtime required. Candidates must reside within 70 miles of Lincoln, Illinois, except active-duty military service member candidates, who are exempt from the geographic limitation. No relocation benefit is offered, and employment immigration sponsorship or support is not available for this position.

The assembler sets up, assembles, and repairs devices as necessary; performs quality and statistical process control (SPC) checks; and handles materials in the work cell and moves finished devices to designated areas. The role also supports facility environmental guidelines and procedures and identifies pollution-prevention opportunities to reduce waste and raw-material consumption.

Candidates must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day and demonstrate hand speed, mental agility, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand and power tools. A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
