Entry-Level and Internship Opportunities - Hiring Event with AECOM - Raleigh
About The Position
AECOM is hosting an invitation-only hiring event in Raleigh in October 2026 for students and graduates interested in entry-level and internship opportunities. A networking mixer is scheduled for Wednesday evening from 6–8 p.m., where attendees can hear from AECOM employees about projects, career paths, and the company, and meet students, graduates, and professionals across AECOM business lines. Interviews will take place at the Raleigh office on Thursday. Opportunities may start immediately or in Spring/Summer 2026. This posting gathers interest in the event; applicants will be directed to apply to specific requisitions matching their technical discipline. AECOM is seeking candidates interested in Transportation; Environmental; Buildings and Places; Project and Program Management; and Water. Relevant technical backgrounds include civil, structural, traffic, aviation, environmental, mechanical, electrical, architectural, fire protection, construction, water resources, hydraulic, and geotechnical engineering, as well as planning. AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm working across water, environment, energy, transportation, and buildings. Its teams provide advisory, planning, design, engineering, program management, and construction management services to public- and private-sector clients, with a focus on innovative, sustainable, and resilient solutions.
Requirements
- Have or be working toward a BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a relevant discipline, or a closely related field, from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Relevant disciplines include civil, structural, traffic, planning, aviation, environmental, mechanical, electrical, architectural, fire protection, construction, water resources, hydraulic, or geotechnical engineering.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, or Navisworks.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
- Experience with project management tools such as Bluebeam and Revu.
