About The Position

The Operations Consulting Group (“OCG”) is a team that provides temporary support, on a rotational basis, to various departments throughout Lone Pine’s business team. Example departments may include administration, investment research, legal & compliance, accounting, tax, financial reporting, technology, human resources, valuation, business development, and investor relations. The OCG team is led by the Manager of the Operations Consulting Group, who reports into the Managing Director, Human Resources & Facilities and the Manager, Human Resources & Facilities. The Administrative Assistant is an entry-level position that rotates through various operational departments over the course of the year, with each assignment lasting from several weeks up to six months. During each rotation, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the assigned team, under the direction of that department’s managers. Responsibilities primarily include administrative projects and tasks but may also extend to supporting new team initiatives and providing coverage for employees on leave. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will serve as backup Receptionist support by providing general front desk and office services responsibilities, while continuing to deliver direct administrative assistance to their assigned team. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Recent college graduates with solid academic track record and expressed interest in administrative orexecutive assistant work will be strongly considered
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn
  • Excellent Excel, Word, and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion, particularly in dealing with confidential matters/materials
  • Must possess a team-focused attitude with a demonstrated interest and ability to work collaborativelywith others, with the ability to also be effective independently
  • Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism and integrity
