About The Position

Perform all entertainment and event sound, lighting, stage setup, and load-in responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include operating company sound and visual equipment for live and recorded events in a professional manner so that Guests are provided with a great experience. Requirements

  • Two (2) years AV field, a graduate certificate in a related field, or completion of AV Tech training (or another alternative as deemed appropriate).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of equalization, compression, limiting, and miking of musical instruments, including, but not limited to, drums, bass, guitars, horns, stringed instruments, harmonica, piano, and vocals.
  • Understanding of lighting systems such as DMX is required.
  • Knowledge of sound pressure settings and the detrimental impact of unmonitored sound pressure readings.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • The pre-employment process also requires the ability to pass a criminal background investigation, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated musician or musical background is preferred.
  • Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safe operation and keeping of company assets in Entertainment Technician control.
  • Responsible for all rules, policies, and procedures related to safety, as well as proper use of sound equipment and maintenance tools related to sound.
  • Primarily responsible for the production needs of Entertainment and special events.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all Audio-Visual equipment (i.e. speakers, amplifiers, microphones, televisions, and control systems).
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of scheduled events and provide client assistance as needed.
  • Assist with running and maintaining the entire Audio-Visual system for the casino property and hotel.
  • The Entertainment Technician is the performers’ primary contact on the floor and event space.
  • Provide Entertainment booking suggestions based on research and review of new and/or returning bands.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
