About The Position

The Entertainment Technician - Networks is responsible for the setup and operation of entertainment equipment, including music page systems, network systems, video networks using fiber optics, CAT5/CAT6, computer audio video systems, BSS systems, and Crestron systems. The role involves performing setup, operation, maintenance, and inventory of various audio, lighting, staging, and musical equipment. The technician will work under the direction of the Ocean's AV Lead and the Entertainment Manager AV Sales. Essential functions include exposure to casino environmental factors, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility with holidays, weekends, and unusual hours. Physical requirements include lifting and carrying equipment up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders/stairs, working at heights up to 50 feet, maneuvering heavy items with equipment, driving a scissor lift, and extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking. The role also involves operating various technical equipment and hand tools, working with hazardous materials, and communicating via multiple systems. Effective English communication is essential.

Requirements

  • Crestron certification is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous experience in performing the overall load in, strike, inventory and maintenance of all types of audio, lighting, musical and stage equipment used in all entertainment areas required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)

Responsibilities

  • Performs setup, operation, maintenance of Music Page System, network systems, network switches, video networks using fiber optics, CAT5 / CAT6 and networking of computer audio video systems, BSS systems, and Crestron systems.
  • Performs, but not limited to, the following: setup, operation, strike, inventory, construction and maintenance of all types of audio, lighting, staging and musical equipment used in entertainment area/events.
  • Performs additional duties as required by the Department.
  • Will work under the direction of Ocean’s AV Lead as well as the Entertainment Manager AV Sales.
