About The Position

The Entertainment Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, supervision, and successful execution of assigned live entertainment performances and special events. Working under the direction of Entertainment Management and in partnership with the Production Services Shift Manager, the Entertainment Supervisor ensures that all non-technical aspects of assigned events are executed with the highest degree of professionalism while providing exceptional service to artists, promoters, guests, and internal stakeholders. This position does not make decisions related to event technical production. The Entertainment Supervisor oversees the coordination and execution of assigned events, including artist hospitality and advancing, ticketing operations, acquisition of creative assets, submission of advertising creative requests when needed, contract and rider processing, front-of-house staffing, and day-of-show operations. The position supervises assigned Entertainment Coordinators and Event Representatives while coordinating with Production Services and other supporting departments to ensure seamless event execution. In addition to event supervision responsibilities, the Entertainment Supervisor must be capable of assisting with the setup, operation, removal, and maintenance of Production Services equipment as needed to support assigned events. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in live entertainment, event planning, event coordination, venue operations, or casino entertainment, including concerts featuring national touring acts.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience coordinating or managing live entertainment events, including artist hospitality, event logistics, front-of-house operations, ticketing, and event administration.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising, scheduling, training, or directing staff in an entertainment, hospitality, venue operations, or customer service environment.
Experience working directly with artists, promoters, tour personnel, event producers, and vendors, including coordinating artist riders, hospitality requirements, and event logistics.
Working knowledge of live entertainment production, theatrical operations, and event support systems sufficient to effectively coordinate with Production Services personnel. This position is not responsible for technical production decisions.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must be able to effectively understand and communicate to candidates and employees.
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

Nice To Haves

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Technical Theatre, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with the setup, operation, removal, and maintenance of one or more technical production disciplines—including audio, lighting, rigging, staging, backline, video, or hotel audiovisual systems—is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all entertainment and production requirements for assigned events with show producers, performers, promoters, artist representatives, Casino Entertainment Management, Production Services, and other internal departments to ensure successful event execution.
Advance assigned events by serving as the primary liaison with artists, tour personnel, promoters, and vendors to coordinate all technical and non-technical requirements, including production, hospitality, transportation, lodging, and other contractual obligations.
Ensure compliance with entertainment agreements, technical riders, hospitality riders, and associated vendor requirements by coordinating contract routing, artist payments, creative requests, ticketing, and the procurement of supplemental production equipment and services as required.
Coordinate and oversee all phases of assigned event production, including load-in, setup, rehearsals, sound checks, performances, load-out, and post-event activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the appropriate levels of Production Services personnel, front-of-house staff, ticket takers, ushers, event representatives, and other event support resources required for assigned events.
Assist with or oversee the setup, operation, and strike of audio, lighting, rigging, staging, backline, video, projection, and other technical equipment required to support assigned events.
Perform stage management duties as required, including coordinating rehearsals, cueing production elements, and supporting the smooth execution of live performances and presentations.
Coordinate ticketing activities for assigned events, including event setup, management of ticket holds, day-of-show box office operations, ticket distribution, and post-event reconciliation using designated ticketing systems.
Process or oversee the processing of entertainment contracts, vendor documentation, creative requests, hospitality requirements, settlements, event cost documentation, and other administrative functions necessary for assigned events.
Monitor assigned event budgets, maintain accurate records, prepare event cost documentation, and support financial reporting by promoting cost-effective operations and timely submission of required documentation.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with artists, tour personnel, promoters, vendors, and internal stakeholders to promote exceptional guest, artist, and partner experiences while ensuring the successful execution of assigned events.
Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate assigned Event Representatives, and other assigned personnel, providing coaching and development to ensure consistent execution of departmental standards and assigned event responsibilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned in support of Entertainment and Production Services operations.
Work independently without direct supervision.
Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
Attend all necessary meetings.
