About The Position
A Hot Set covers the news and stories across the global entertainment industry with an eye trained toward people of color. Through in-depth commentary, statistical insights, historical analysis, profiles, updates, and special coverage we keep you well-informed and on the pulse of the ever-evolving role POCs play in shaping the future of entertainment media.
Requirements
- Cover film, TV, creator, or business-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic.
- Possess an aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry.
- Possess an aptitude/interest in reviewing film or TV series from various genres.
- Possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary.
Responsibilities
- Write weekly in-depth industry-related articles, commentary, and/or reviews.
