About The Position

Spectrum Retirement Communities believes in living without limits, aging fearlessly, and sharing great stories. The Entertainment Coordinator, Assisted Living position is a part-time role focused on developing, planning, implementing, and executing activities for Assisted Living residents. This includes assisting in the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library. The role also involves driving residents to events and assisting them with entering and exiting the community vehicle.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle records, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and professional.
  • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the development, planning, implementation, the execution of the activities for Assisted Living residents.
  • Assisting in the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library.
  • Driving residents to events, assisting residents to enter and exit the community vehicle.
