About The Position

CACI is searching for a Chief Architect/Technologist. This innovative and high-energy technology leader will provide strategic planning, implementation, and support services in the following areas: Enterprise applications (including SAP, Salesforce, Service Now), Web services (including Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft O365), Data services (including database administration, business intelligence, and data analysis, and geographic information systems [GIS]), Business analysis/business systems analysis [BA/BSA], and product management). The selected candidate will devise strategies, sell and deliver value solutions, as well as possess clear understanding of client’s business vision, strategy, goals, and objectives. They will engage with clients to understand their challenge(s) and help design viable, value-added solutions and processes resulting in measurable business benefit. This role involves linking the client's mission strategy to their IT strategy, documenting and devising both programs and projects demonstrating how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and adaptable manner. The candidate will create, maintain and own architecture roadmaps defining current state and target state architectures, and work with delivery teams on the development and sustainable execution of transition plans. They will establish architecture standards, design patterns and technology reference models, and govern adoption, compliance and/or exception approvals. Maintaining a technology roadmap that managers technical debt, plans and tracks modernization and end of life migrations to influence prioritization and investment decisions is also key. Evaluating the applicability of leading-edge technologies and harnessing this information to significantly influence future IT and business growth strategy is expected. The role champions and enforces sound engineering practices across delivery teams including DevSecOps, CI/CD infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, code quality and security-by-design. Providing a deep understanding of business capabilities and functions, processes, as well as data and related topics across the client organization is crucial. Demonstrating authoritative knowledge and its implications for both the agency and industry as a whole is required. Working with senior engineers and architects to identify, evaluate and pilot emerging technologies with focus on AI/ML, Gen and Agentics AI is part of the role. Translating client's business issues/opportunities into business requirements, identifying both technical and process solutions, and helping select best suited teams to deliver on the proposed solution vision are key responsibilities. Driving implementation of chosen solutions through established project/project management principles/best practices, and supporting on-contract growth opportunities, while tracking business obstacles and objectives are also part of the role. Developing and delivering presentations addressing prospect's business problems, objectives, and requirements, typically using in-depth or experiential knowledge, and researching to stay ahead in area of expertise - including understanding the current and future market, product, and competitor landscape; supporting the proposal development process, responding to RFI's and RFP's are expected. Responding (or coordinating response) to technical questions about the process or related architecture is also required. Passion and experience applying emerging technologies to identify and address modern business challenges, understanding of modern business models and technology strategies, and experience leading and managing technology-based consulting engagements and complex problems are essential.

Requirements

M.A./M.S./PhD Degree from an accredited institution
15+ years leading solution delivery for US Government customers
Prior experience managing senior technical personnel
Understanding of the US Government marketspace, with an emphasis on solution development consolidation
Prior experience managing solution design, development, and delivery for multiple enterprise systems, preferably for the Federal Government

Nice To Haves

Prior project management experience on enterprise programs
Prior experience performing the required qualifications on Agile programs
