About The Position

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the Enterprise Systems Architect is responsible for the ownership, enablement, and architectural design of enterprise business application. This has accountability into solution architecture, advanced integrations, and the operationalization of AI and large language model (LLM) capabilities within production applications. The position ensures enterprise platforms are stable, well-adopted, and architected as cohesive, scalable solutions aligned with business strategy, data architecture, integration standards, security, and governance. The role bridges business outcomes and technical execution, translating ideas into production-ready capabilities and measuring realized value over time.

Requirements

  • Experience in business systems analysis, enterprise application management, or platform ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or influencing application and integration solutions in a multi-platform environment.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled platforms, automation, and LLM-based capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.
  • Strong capability in defining metrics, establishing baselines, and measuring outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills across business, technical, and leadership audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned enterprise business application platforms, ensuring stability, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Enable platforms through configuration, feature activation, and iterative enhancement beyond initial project delivery.
  • Partner with business units to identify needs and translate them into application capabilities and solution designs.
  • Run the full use-case lifecycle from intake through experimentation, pilot, production deployment, and iteration.
  • Coordinate operational activities including moves, adds, changes, patching, and release readiness.
  • Drive sustained adoption through training, documentation, feedback loops, and continuous refinement.
  • Report on platform health, adoption, and realized business value.
  • Design end-to-end business application solutions spanning platforms, integrations, data sources, and automation.
  • Define and apply architectural patterns to ensure scalability, supportability, and reuse.
  • Evaluate solution approaches (configuration, integration, automation, extension, or new capability) and recommend the appropriate design.
  • Partner with architecture, data, security, and integration teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Act as a design authority for complex application changes and cross-platform solutions.
  • Integrate and operationalize AI and LLM capabilities within production business applications.
  • Apply a pragmatic engineering and MLOps-lite approach to move AI solutions from experimentation into stable operations.
  • Ensure AI solutions are production-ready, secure, observable, and maintainable.
  • Enable and operationalize AI features embedded within existing enterprise platforms to prevent underutilization or shelfware.
  • Partner with vendors during early adoption and internalize knowledge to reduce long-term reliance on managed services.
  • Partner with business leaders to shape application and capability roadmaps and drive adoption.
  • Establish and operate a governed, repeatable lifecycle for new use cases and enhancements.
  • Define baseline measurements prior to implementation, including effort, cycle time, and operational pain points.
  • Define success metrics and expected outcomes before work begins.
  • Measure and report realized value, including efficiency gains, cost avoidance, quality improvements, and experience enhancements.
