About The Position

The Enterprise Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing system efficiencies, resolving issues within enterprise systems, and implementing new functionalities for both the business units and the credit union's members. The primary objective is to collaborate with business units to improve the member experience. This is an independent role requiring the Analyst to fully understand and manage assigned enterprise systems. Key skills include troubleshooting system problems, testing system changes, performing ad hoc report writing, and researching/deploying system solutions. The Analyst must manage daily workloads while contributing to multiple project implementation teams.

Requirements

  • 3 years in the financial services industry as a Business or Systems Analyst
  • 3 years project management experience leading and facilitating both IT projects and cross-functional business improvement projects
  • 1+ year’s experience gathering user requirements for scoping exercises
  • Experience implementing integrated business applications solutions
  • Knowledge of information systems development and project management methodologies and techniques
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry’s goals and drivers
  • Excellent written, verbal and overall presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders, gather requirements, understand intricacies (interrelation between needs/wants, legal compliance, system capabilities, etc.) and develop thoughtful solutions.
  • Proficient in a project management software tool
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in Computer Sciences, Information

Responsibilities

  • Maintains in-depth technical knowledge of managed enterprise systems and a thorough understanding of the business units supported, providing technical support to resolve business and technical issues effectively.
  • Identifies and deploys solutions to fix issues, build efficiencies, and improve the member experience.
  • Educates business units on new vendor functionality and product offerings, staying updated on software releases and ensuring timely vetting and deployment of new features.
  • Participates in the analysis, design, system configurations, testing, and support of data management and integration solutions.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and team member on enterprise projects, often managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Provides technical leadership for evaluating and scoping new system initiatives, assessing feasibility and resource requirements, and acting as a liaison between business units and system capabilities.
  • Partners with systems vendors to ensure alignment of their development roadmaps with the credit union's strategic initiatives and goals.
  • Participates in special projects as directed by IT management.
  • Treats all co-workers and members with respect, supports continuous improvement activities, and represents the Credit Union professionally and confidentially.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
