About The Position

This role involves installing and troubleshooting low voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices. The technician will provide reliable, high-quality customer support, including instructing customers on system operation and functionality. Key duties include performing system testing, signal verification, maintaining truck stock/inventory, and organizing technical resources for efficient task execution. The position requires ensuring the progress and completion of assigned tasks, documenting service and hours worked, and submitting all required documentation in a timely manner. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of experience.
  • Mastery knowledge of enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
  • Full understanding of local/national codes.
  • Full knowledge of local/national codes.
  • Proficiency knowledge of OSHA, HAZCOM Regulations and comprehension of national electronic code, state and local construction codes.
  • Strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.
  • Ability to determine and implement resolution to complex field situations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead others and manage multiple projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
  • Must retain NICET Level II Certification (for fire alarm systems only).
  • Must obtain NICET Level III within one (1) year (for fire alarm systems only).
  • Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
  • Requires 75 % to 100 % proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings.
