As a member of the Enterprise Risk team, you’ll work directly with the staff in the day-to-day implementation of the Bank’s overall risk management program with primary focus on the Department’s responsibilities related to the maintenance of an effective control environment as well as overall enhancements to the Bank’s internal control environment.

Requirements

  • Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business Management preferred.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills that promote effective working relationships in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various aspects of the implementation of new systems, enhancements, reporting and data migration analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategies for the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of risk across the Bank as well as evaluating the application of various risk mitigations.
  • Assist with assurance testing and control gap identification and remediation.
  • Review and continuously enhance the Bank’s SOX 404 processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of the Bank’s financial statements and compliance with COSO 2013 internal control framework.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
