As a Public Relations Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in elevating Baker Hughes’ brand reputation, strengthening executive visibility, and driving strategic communications across global markets. You will develop integrated PR strategies, manage multi‑channel communication programs, and craft compelling narratives that position Baker Hughes as a leader in energy technology and innovation. You will collaborate closely with product marketing, content, demand generation, and enterprise leaders to ensure PR initiatives reinforce broader marketing priorities and business objectives. Your work will help shape how customers, media, partners, and stakeholders perceive Baker Hughes’ impact on the energy transition and industrial innovation.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Have 8–10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or agency environments.
  • Have demonstrate strong ability to build stakeholder relationships and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Have bring experience developing key messages and ensuring alignment with brand and strategic priorities.
  • Have a proven track record of pitching and placing stories in tier‑one and trade media, including paid and sponsored media campaigns.
  • Have possess exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Have to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Developing comprehensive PR strategies and communication plans aligned with enterprise priorities
  • Coordinating and managing multiple communication projects, campaigns, and events from inception to completion
  • Implementing PR plans for enterprise products, services, and major corporate milestones
  • Partnering with enterprise leaders to build executive visibility through bylines, speaking engagements, and interviews
  • Managing external PR agencies and mentoring internal team members to ensure high‑quality execution
  • Collaborating with product marketing, content, and demand generation teams to align PR with broader marketing initiatives
  • Crafting compelling stories, press releases, pitches, and content that translate complex technology into business‑relevant messaging
  • Developing integrated PR strategies and plans that identify target audiences, key messages, and communication channels.
