Enterprise Portfolio Manager

Craftsman Technology Group LLCBoston, MA
$100,000 - $145,000Hybrid

About The Position

Craftsman Technology Group is an employee-owned firm that supports mission-driven organizations. Our work spans community and economic development, community health, arts and historical institutions, and organizations fostering inclusive communities. We believe technology can be an effective vehicle for change. Our mission: to help nonprofit organizations grow and thrive. Our values: be transparent and honest; be fair and accountable; be independent and objective; and be good to our staff, our communities, and the world. We are seeking an Enterprise Portfolio Manager (EPM), a client-facing, senior-level position, who will bring these same values and passion to help mission-driven organizations. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to a Practice Director. Note: this is not a sales position, does not carry a revenue goal nor does it have a commission associated with it. As an Enterprise Portfolio Manager (EPM), you will lead a portfolio of strategic clients. In partnership with practice leadership, you will create strategic plans to define near and long-term goals for organizations. You are a capable leader, active listener, and are comfortable facilitating conversations with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. You are able to make clear, actionable recommendations on priorities and approach. As EPM, you are responsible for organizing work and resources across Craftsman’s suite of technical services, including technology assessments, on-ongoing support, incremental deployments, and transformative projects, to deliver efficiently on the client’s strategic objectives. You own the strategic roadmap and direct execution across every workstream serving that client. You will have a deep understanding of a client’s goals and evaluate and balance work across multiple workstreams to ensure resources are well utilized and timelines are met. While client success roles focus on day-to-day relationship health and support, the EPM operates a level up, overseeing day-to-day delivery across your portfolio, and translating what you see into the bigger picture. As EPM, you own multi-year strategy, cross-workstream sequencing, and portfolio-level outcomes, partnering closely with practice leadership on budget performance and resourcing decisions across your portfolio. This role does not involve direct people-management responsibility, though an EPM is considered Senior Staff. As such, an EPM is responsible for coaching and ensuring a productive work culture.
