Time management and continuous task prioritization are crucial to delivering support services in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention to safe, repeatable human spaceflight. You will own service delivery across a team responsible for the daily operational work within the Enterprise Operations Center (EOC). New hires must excel in vendor management and provide senior-level direction and tactical responses to operational issues encountered by their teams. You must obsess over our internal and external customers, triaging and responding to their operational needs, and leveraging your outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Shift Information: Mon - Fri, 2p - 11p (Second Shift)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or seven (7) years equivalent industry-related experience, i.e., military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, corporate security.
  • Five (5) years of operational program management experience in a high-volume, high-intensity environment such as a security operations center, call center, or crisis management/emergency response center.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with an ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in high-stress situations.
  • Experience managing teams comprised of both junior and mid-level management personnel.
  • Outstanding writing skills, including drafting, editing, and publishing written products such as incident reports, messaging products, and security alerts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing security incidents and crises.
  • Demonstrated experience in investigating errors, developing root cause analysis, reporting findings, and proposing mitigations to leadership team members.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced education/certification in the fields of emergency management, security management, project management, business continuity, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with access control and CCTV systems such as CCure and Avigilon.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly collect and analyze data necessary to brief senior leaders on important, time-sensitive security issues.
  • Proven track record of bar-raising vendor management skills, including the development, implementation, and tracking of vendor KPIs, performance improvement initiatives, and scope enhancement projects.
  • History of critical incident handling experience.
  • Documented leadership experience.
  • Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills
  • Computer-based proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to obtain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the teams responsible for the remote security monitoring and incident management of Blue Origin Sites.
  • Oversee the drafting and publication of written products and communications, including the editing and quality management of all written products.
  • Track and manage vendor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent performance in line with the Business Continuity Management core service delivery standards.
  • Manage competing priorities, including concurrent security events, by directing and allocating personnel resources, and escalating to managers and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent service delivery across multiple functional levels.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement enterprise-level post orders for Security Analyst positions.
  • Develop, maintain, implement, and track compliance for enterprise-level training standards for Security Analyst positions.
  • Identify preferred certifications and implementation plan.
  • Must be able to maintain Human Resource requirements for all Security Analysts
  • Actively develop positive relationships with other Blue Origin Organizations to ensure the Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) is meeting enterprise needs.
  • Develop relationships with local law enforcement and emergency command centers.
  • Execute ad hoc security support as directed by Blue Origin Security leadership.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) to assess, mentor, and manage Security Analysts
