Enterprise Mgr, Network SVCS
About The Position
Under the general guidance of the Director, Enterprise Network Services, the Manager of Network Services will lead a team of Network Data Technician staff for the daily performance and availability of the organization's network. Analyzes network system functions and failures to isolate and define problem areas. Monitors the reachability of all connections within the network and initiate troubleshooting to restore full network capability. Monitors system performance and tracks usage. Develops and delivers a trend analysis of system load, usage and response. Manages operational support, upgrades, pre and post network events and maintenance support. Maintain network documentation and inventory. Manages 24/7 on-call support and on-call teams. Acts as an escalation point for network service issues, out of hours. Communicating, Planning and Implementing network changes and presenting to the CAB for approval. Collaborate with IT Teams on projects and technology initiatives as needed. This role requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
- 3 years experience with managing and mentoring a Network Operations Team Required
- 3 years experience with expertise in network monitoring and troubleshooting across diverse infrastructure (e.g., DNS, Wired, Wireless, SD-WAN, Firewalls, Campus & Data Center Networking) Required
- General Experience with and In-depth knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, QoS, static routing, Layer 2, Layer 3 routing Required
Nice To Haves
- 2 years experience and proficiency in automation and scripting and Life Cycle Management Preferred
- General Experience and familiarity with network devices Cisco, Palo Alto, Extreme, Infoblox and knowledge of Azure Preferred
- Previous healthcare experience Preferred
- Cisco Cert Network Associate Preferred
- Cisco Cert Net Professional Preferred
