As a Enterprise Infrastructure Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Manager (EIM) to lead a high-performing team responsible for enterprise technology infrastructure and support. This role is heavily focused on people leadership, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration, while also requiring a strong technical background. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can effectively manage diverse personalities, drive organizational strategy, and partner closely with Domain CIOs and enterprise stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role, with direct people management responsibilities.
  • Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, networking, and/or development.
  • Experience working within SDLC environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, including Domain CIOs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Experience with testing and validation processes.
  • Background in network architecture or infrastructure design at an enterprise level.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Industry experience is typically 8+ years.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • No Required Certification(s).
  • No Required License(s).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 direct reports.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and career development opportunities.
  • Develop and execute enterprise infrastructure strategy and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with Domain CIOs and technology leadership to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across infrastructure services.
  • Oversee enterprise-level infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate across technology domains to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Act as a key liaison between infrastructure teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Apply experience within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to infrastructure-related initiatives.
  • Implement and support Agile methodologies to improve delivery and team efficiency.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for service management, incident tracking, and operational workflows.
  • Provide leadership across areas such as: Network architecture and engineering, Infrastructure design and operations, Development and integration.
  • Offer technical guidance and ensure best practices are followed across the team.
  • Support testing and validation processes to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Drive standards for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Delivers products/services in alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Responsible for multiple teams or departments within the Enterprise Infrastructure function.
  • Contributes to infrastructure planning, development strategies/initiatives and product lifecycle/service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs.
  • Oversees portfolio/program/project management responsibilities.
  • Directs financial management and risk management capabilities.
  • Contributes to stable and secure environment, incident management, product health/patching, and the asset management lifecycle.
  • May communicate with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.
  • Implements best practices for technology architecture and management.
  • Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff.
