About The Position

CECO Environmental is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer / Enterprise Architect to support enterprise transformation, modernization, production operations, and integration initiatives. This contract-to-hire role combines strategic architectural leadership with hands-on engineering and requires the ability to assess complex environments quickly, work independently, investigate undocumented systems, identify risks and dependencies, and develop practical, scalable solutions with limited supervision. The role spans enterprise infrastructure, identity and access management, cloud platforms, networking, virtualization, automation, cybersecurity, backup and recovery, and production systems. Approximately 60% of the role is hands-on infrastructure engineering and production support, and approximately 40% is enterprise architecture and strategic technical direction. It is a high-visibility position with direct involvement in enterprise integration, transformation, business continuity, and operational resilience. The position operates primarily in a professional office and remote-work environment and routinely uses standard office and computer equipment. The work is largely sedentary, although occasional hands-on work with computer, server, networking, or related infrastructure equipment may be required. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, including international travel.
