About The Position

The Enterprise Governance Lead oversees governance frameworks, policies, and oversight mechanisms supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives for the DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role ensures alignment between mission objectives, architecture standards, and program execution across complex digital modernization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise governance, program governance, or digital transformation oversight.
  • Experience supporting federal or DoD programs.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required (or higher).
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the PM and Chief Architect to manage government timelines and deliverables.
  • Establish governance frameworks supporting enterprise architecture, data governance, and digital modernization initiatives.
  • Develop governance policies, processes, and compliance mechanisms aligned with DoD standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements and existing processes.
  • Coordinate governance reviews, architecture boards, and technical oversight activities.
  • Support oversight of program compliance with security, architecture, and data policies.
  • Provide governance recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned
