About The Position

We’re seeing enterprises all over the world embrace AI to surge employee productivity, automate operations, and build new AI-powered products. Enterprises that are traditionally cautious in adopting new technology are moving with urgency to adopt AI and create impact. As our Enterprise Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narratives we share with enterprises on ChatGPT, our foundational models, and how our GTM team works with customers. You will partner with our sales teams to help enterprise accounts expand AI programs. You’ll work with our enterprise PMs to translate complex AI technologies into clear, impactful benefits—creating compelling narratives that speak directly to enterprise buyers. Your efforts will include organizing events to bring CxO together and designing in-person meetings (think EBCs and Roundtables) to accelerate deal cycles and receive product feedback. This role is based in San Francisco, California. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise marketing, PMM at B2B companies or corporate marketing
  • Have extensive experience in marketing, particularly within enterprise-focused roles in technology-driven sectors
  • Possess a proven track record of developing and implementing successful B2B marketing strategies that involve complex technological products and buyer groups
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, utilizing data to guide marketing decisions and optimize performance–experience with ABM technical systems not required, but a plus
  • Understand the enterprise sales cycle and buyer behavior, tailoring marketing strategies to meet these dynamics
  • Are proactive and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Are passionate about AI and its potential to revolutionize industries and societal structures

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a marketing strategy that supports the full enterprise buying journey
  • Develop narratives that effectively communicate the value of OpenAI's products to enterprise buyers, emphasizing how our AI solutions address their specific needs and challenges
  • Organize targeted events and meetings to shorten the sales cycle and increase the probability of closing deals
  • Establish core pursuit frameworks for how we prioritize which enterprises and verticals we focus on
  • Evolve our corporate narrative on how we communicate the value of OpenAI to enterprises
  • Conduct research on our target personas to understand the challenges their facing; use the insights to inform our narratives and product roadmaps
