About The Position

The Engineer in Client Services and Infrastructure Operations is responsible for implementing, securing, administering, and supporting enterprise-level client infrastructure, access management, identity, and endpoint solutions. The Engineer provides technical expertise in endpoint management, cybersecurity, service management, software asset management, automation, and end-user computing technologies to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT client operations. As a core member of the Client Services Second Level Team, the incumbent supports, secures, and enhances critical enterprise platforms and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Four or more years of professional work experience
  • Two or more years of experience in IT infrastructure and client support operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Linux, Microsoft, operating systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in IT Security principles and concepts
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Cloud Technologies and Infrastructure Architecture principles
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of client infrastructure management, security, and enterprise-level IT support, leading important initiatives, offering guidance to team members, and promoting innovation and strategic improvements within the organization
  • Advanced ability to communicate complex information in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders
  • Ability to lead diverse teams to achieve common goals, while mentoring team members

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, or a related field
  • Five years of combined experience in IT infrastructure operations, including managing and maintaining Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows Client OS in on-premises and/or cloud environments
  • Three or more years of experience in Linux administration, server implementation, security measures, managing user access, and maintaining server stability

Responsibilities

  • Designs, deploys, maintains, and supports enterprise endpoint computing solutions, including workstation image builds, hardware lifecycle management, operating system configuration, mobile device management, and endpoint standardization to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient user computing environments
  • Administers and supports enterprise identity, access, and endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Group Policy, privileged access management solutions, and related technologies; develops and enforces device, user, and security policies to maintain compliance and protect organizational assets
  • Provides subject matter expertise, administration, and operational support for endpoint security and remote support technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Arctic Wolf, BeyondTrust Remote Support, and related cybersecurity tools; monitors, responds to, and mitigates risks impacting endpoint and user security
  • Manages software asset, licensing, and vendor-supported technology programs, including Microsoft volume licensing, Adobe licensing, and third-party software licensing; ensures license compliance, optimizes software utilization, and supports procurement, renewals, and audit activities
  • Administers, configures, and enhances ServiceNow and related service management platforms, including workflow configuration, integrations, reporting, scripting, and application development; develops automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting technologies to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and system reliability
  • Evaluates emerging endpoint, security, automation, and digital workplace technologies through research, testing, and proof-of-concept activities; collaborates with IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to implement innovative solutions, support organizational objectives, and drive continuous improvement.
