What you’ll achieve As a Business Relationship Manager, you’ll be the voice and advocate for a major user segment. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding the data solutioning needs of that organization and will need to translate their needs into a prioritized roadmap that is achievable by our overall organization. Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Product Management/Ownership and/or UX strategy in data-adjacent roles
• Working knowledge of data platforms like Lakehouses, Teradata, Greenplum, Cloud Platforms, Hadoop; data engineering tech stack including Informatica, Streamsets, Kafka, Spark, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, MemSQL etc.
• Understands metadata models, taxonomy, ontology, semantic layer and data quality frameworks
• Are a Go getter with an entrepreneurial spirit and own their outcomes
• Constantly raise the bar for excellence
• Are obsessed with customer centricity and inspire their teams to go above and beyond
• Can translate complex technical concepts into intuitive, human-centered experiences, while balancing enterprise constraints, technical feasibility, and compliance requirements
• Are comfortable navigating large, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders
• Have a genuine curiosity and empathy for the end user interacting with data to derive business value
• Communicate clearly, crisply to peers and upward

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Science, Business Analytics or similar
• Storytelling for influence and knowledge of Big Data technologies

Responsibilities

• Nurture solid relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their strategy, finding the root problem and discovering motivations (stay up-to-date on EDS programs for BU advisement)
• Advise BU stakeholders’ roadmaps and advocate for onboarding to EDS offerings
• Consult BUs on EDS’ role in the Data Mesh and educate on service offerings
• Field all stakeholder demand and initial intakes, engaging across EDS as needed, prioritizing as needed, taking approved use cases through the engagement model to delivery, keeping pulse on the user experience post-onboarding
• Run or provide updates to BUs at steering committees or similar and/or garner joint read outs, etc.
• Define the experiences for the Data Producers and Consumers in your Business Segment, aligned with EDS Data Mesh guidelines
• Provide input to overall EDS Vision / Strategy / Valuation to drive prioritization
• Account Exec Responsibilities : Grow customer usage of EDS offerings (vs shadow IT etc.) proactively identify opportunities for customers.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by managing expectations and preemptive comms.
• Full knowledge of interactions w/customer, able to tell the story of the relationship
