About The Position

The Enterprise Data Architect is a hands-on technical role focused on building and expanding the company’s enterprise data and analytics environment. The role designs and delivers reliable data integrations, develops cloud data warehouse solutions, and helps establish an effective Power BI and Power Apps environment. The architect works directly with business and IT teams to translate requirements into working solutions. The environment uses Oracle Fusion, Snowflake, Fivetran, and Microsoft Power Platform. Prior experience with every product is not required, but success extracting Oracle Fusion data at enterprise scale, building production data pipelines, and delivering cloud-based analytics solutions is strongly preferred. The position emphasizes hands-on development, problem-solving, and consistent delivery through Agile ways of working. The role owns assigned solutions from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support. It collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders to understand source systems and reporting needs. It also supports practical AI-enabled analytics initiatives, such as conversational interfaces or chatbots that help users query Power BI content or enterprise data sources.

Requirements

  • Typically 8–10 years of relevant experience in data architecture, data engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise application integration.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience extracting Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications data at enterprise scale, including bulk and incremental loads into downstream platforms; experience limited to individual reports or ad hoc queries is insufficient.
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion data extraction methods, such as BICC or comparable supported bulk extraction approaches, and their operational constraints.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting automated production ETL/ELT pipelines, including monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on cloud data warehousing experience with Snowflake or a comparable platform such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or BigQuery.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, transformation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience structuring and administering Power BI workspaces, semantic models, access, and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency developing Microsoft Power Apps and connecting them to business data sources.
  • Practical experience with Agile delivery, including stand-ups, reviews, backlog priorities, and incremental releases; working knowledge of SDLC.
  • Ability to work independently with business stakeholders and deliver maintainable production solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience is also noted.
  • Fivetran and Snowflake experience, particularly in an Oracle Fusion-to-cloud-data-warehouse environment.
  • Experience with AI-enabled analytics, chatbots, or natural-language access to Power BI or enterprise data sources.
  • Oracle EPM experience, particularly financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting integrations.
  • Accounting and Finance reporting and data integration experience.
  • Salesforce experience in a customer-facing B2B commercial environment, including sales processes and relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, or other business customers.
  • Experience with Sales and Marketing data, including customer and account information, sales pipelines, commercial performance, and marketing reporting.
  • Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience, including inventory, planning, production, or operational analytics.
  • Microsoft Azure data services and Power Automate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines that extract large volumes of data from Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and load it into an enterprise cloud data warehouse.
  • Implement bulk and incremental extraction strategies using appropriate Oracle Fusion extraction tools and methods, addressing scheduling, throughput, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Build and maintain data models, SQL transformations, and reusable datasets for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate additional enterprise applications and data sources as business needs expand.
  • Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues, and improve production integration reliability.
  • Help expand the Snowflake and Fivetran environment, applying transferable experience from comparable cloud data warehouse and ETL/ELT platforms.
  • Build and organize Power BI workspaces for development, testing, and production, including access, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, data connections, reports, and dashboards that are accurate, efficient, and easy to use.
  • Develop and support Microsoft Power Apps connected to enterprise data and business processes.
  • Use Power Automate and other integration capabilities where appropriate to support applications and reporting.
  • Work with business users to translate requirements into practical reporting and application solutions.
  • Own assigned solutions through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Participate in Agile stand-ups and reviews, manage priorities, and deliver improvements in manageable increments.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define deliverables, resolve blockers, and communicate progress and tradeoffs.
  • Apply SDLC practices, including testing, version control, and documentation appropriate to the solution.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams to understand source systems and reporting needs.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams as needed to integrate CRM and commercial data into enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Support practical AI-enabled analytics initiatives, including conversational interfaces or chatbots that help users query Power BI content or enterprise data sources.
  • Evaluate new capabilities that make trusted business information easier to access and use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
