About The Position

SMX is actively seeking a Program Manager to lead a critical enterprise cybersecurity contract supporting national infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, secure program outcomes. This role demands expertise in translating complex customer requirements into technical solutions and driving success in a collaborative, regulated environment. This is a full-time on site position in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Requirements

  • Active TS security clearance and eligible for SCI and NATO read-on prior to starting work.
  • Masters in STEM with 10+ years of IT project leadership or Bachelors in STEM with 15+ years of IT project leadership

  • Certified Scrum Master

  • Experience as an ISSO on Army Intel programs

Responsibilities

  • Transform customer cybersecurity goals into actionable plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including project managers, technical teams, and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with program managers to synchronize efforts, ensuring integrated and seamless program delivery.
  • Guide a multidisciplinary team of cybersecurity specialists, data engineers, and support staff to meet program milestones.
  • Manage personnel account access, including timely creation and termination of system accounts.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverable accuracy and compliance with program standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Intelligence Community Directives, DoD regulations, DFARS, NIST, DISA guidelines, and implement the RMF across program activities.
  • Oversee regular cybersecurity risk assessments, ensuring adherence to Intelligence Community and DoD standards and risk management strategies.
  • Embed cybersecurity measures throughout project phases to meet security objectives and enhance program resilience.
  • Utilize cybersecurity metrics to inform strategic priorities, mitigate risks, and adjust program focus.
  • Maintain open communication on cybersecurity incidents, status, and updates with stakeholders, fostering trust and strong relationships.
  • Identify process enhancements to optimize cybersecurity defenses and efficiency, adapting to new threats and regulations.
  • Lead coordination among cybersecurity analysts, incident responders, and IT support teams to achieve unified program goals.
  • Develop and execute long-term cybersecurity strategies that align with DoD priorities and adapt to regulatory shifts.
  • Balance cybersecurity needs with operational priorities, ensuring secure, efficient program delivery.
  • Lead crisis response during cyber incidents, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery, with post-incident analysis to enhance future readiness.
  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and mentor team members on best practices.
  • Establish and report on key performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
