Help us transform our workforce of the future today. Zions Bancorporation is looking for an Enterprise Contracts Manager to join our Enterprise Contracts team. This position can be located anywhere in the US with travel to Salt Lake City as needed. Responsible for the coordination of supplier contracting to ensure that contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and consistent with bank standards. Functions as a resource to effectively coordinate all areas involved in the contracting process (i.e., Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, etc.) Responsible for coordinating internal discussions related to contracting between suppliers and the appropriate business owners of supplier relationships. Assist internal business groups to understand and adhere to existing policies and procedures regarding supplier contracting. Develop goals based on established objectives (team production and quality metrics, solving regulatory and audit issues, etc.). Responsible for contract department operational processes. Responsible for managing staff performance through the employment life cycle, including effective hiring, training, and supervision. Responsible for contract department controls and RCSAs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of business and legal contract terms and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret contracts and advise parties on contract adherence and enforcement.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial/analytical issues and considerable experience in pricing negotiations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transactional organization.
  • Ability to multi-task, advise, and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Prioritization, analytical, risk management, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understand a full sourcing life cycle.
  • Excellent problem solving and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of word processing, databases and spreadsheet software and applications.
  • Requires a degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of professional contract negotiation management, supplier relationships, or other related experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience required.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in banking is highly preferred.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification preferred.
  • RSA Archer and SAP Ariba knowledge a plus.
