About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and evaluating cloud systems to support a global enterprise solution, primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure services. The engineer will apply security best practices, plan and execute implementation and maintenance, and develop roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, assessing design feasibility, collaborating with other engineering staff, automating software deployment, resolving technical problems, and producing technical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's in computer science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
0 years of experience with BS/BA
2 years of experience with AA/AS
4 years of experience with no degree
Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating enterprise-level cloud solutions, specifically with Microsoft Azure services (Intune, MDE, Entra, Azure IaaS).
Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in scripting, automation, and software deployment technologies.
Experience with software development methodologies and open-source tools to build automation solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to develop and execute strategic technical roadmaps.
Secret Clearance, Must Have Clearance to Start
One of the following certifications prior to start date: Security+, Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and evaluate cloud systems that support a global enterprise solution, primarily utilizing Azure services (Intune, MDE, Entra, Azure IaaS).
Apply security best practices to all phases of cloud implementation and integration.
Plan and execute the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise cloud solution.
Develop and manage cloud solution roadmaps that align with business objectives and company strategy.
Analyze cloud requirements to assess the feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints.
Collaborate with other engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, ensuring operational and performance requirements are met.
Automate the gathering, scripting, packaging, and deployment of approved software to the enterprise.
Utilize software development principles and open-source solutions to automate tasks related to the management of products and services.
Resolve complex technical problems, create and refine procedures, and facilitate clear communication across teams.
Research and produce high-quality technical documentation for internal teams and the broader organization.
