About The Position

This internship focuses on supporting the planning, execution, and tracking of enterprise capital projects across North American manufacturing facilities. The intern will partner with various departments and suppliers to manage project requirements, evaluate solutions, and monitor milestones. A key aspect of the role involves developing reports and presentations to provide visibility into project status, spending, savings, risks, and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, Business Analytics and/or related field.
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
  • Up to 40 hours per week.
  • Must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office.
  • Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of new vendor adds and NDAs into Clarios contract management system.
  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of enterprise capital projects across North American manufacturing facilities.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and suppliers to collect project requirements, evaluate solutions, and monitor project milestones.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide visibility to project status, capital spending, savings opportunities, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Analyzing project data using Excel, Power BI, and other business systems to track capital spending, schedules, and project performance against approved budget.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare business cases, investment justifications, vendor evaluations, and management presentations.
  • Participating in supplier meetings, project reviews, and site visits to gain exposure to manufacturing processes, automation systems, and capital equipment installations.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project execution, standardize reporting, and support strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, safety, quality, and cost performance.
