About The Position

Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as an Enterprise Architect. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to lead the development and integration of strategies across multiple domains to create a long-term enterprise architecture roadmap to drive modernization, digital transformation and investment planning. They will ensure compliance with existing governance, ensure scalability, interoperability and alignment with enterprise goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 8+ years of IT architecture experience, including 4 years in a senior/lead architect role.
• Experience in large-scale architecture development, cloud computing, data center modernization, and multi-cloud integration.
• Experience in enterprise data architecture and integrating modern technologies (microservices, API's)
• Certification in federal architecture frameworks (DODAF) required.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture and the ability to ensure compliance with federal regulations (NIST/FISMA)
• Strong background in ITIL with leadership in strategic planning and cross functional collaboration
• Federal Agency Clearance Requirements may require up to a 10-year background investigation - US Citizenship (clearable) is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stake holders to lead the development and integration of strategies across multiple domains to create a long-term enterprise architecture roadmap to drive modernization, digital transformation and investment planning.
• Identifies design gaps in existing and proposed architecture and recommends changes/enhancements.
• Leads development and integration of architecture strategies.
• Establishes and maintains long-term architecture roadmaps.
• Contributes to governance frameworks by defining reference architectures, standards, and principles.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure architecture reflects priorities.
• Provides oversight for major initiatives to ensure scalability and interoperability.
• Oversees deployment and maintenance of architecture tools.
