We are seeking an accomplished and technically adept Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in our Enterprise Architecture team. As a technical leader, you will drive the architecture, implementation, and evolution of our platform, ensuring that our systems are secure, resilient, scalable, and optimized for peak performance. This is a builder’s role, requiring hands-on engagement and technical ownership across multiple domains. You will influence strategic decisions, lead complex projects, and serve as a mentor to product engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, security, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. A graduate degree is preferred.
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, guide teams, and inspire confidence. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale cloud-native projects with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Engineering Experience and Expertise: 10+ years of experience in complex software engineering environments. Mastery of C#/.Net with demonstrated experience implementing complex, secure solutions. Skilled in architecting and governing engineering using best practices for maintainability and scalability.
  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams. Strong ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture through knowledge sharing, technical mentorship, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across engineering, product, and security teams on complex technical projects.
  • AI: Experience driving adoption of AI-based development tools, and a strong understanding of their potential and limitations.

  • TOGAF certification, prior architecture experience and experience in fintech are attributes of your profile that can set you apart from other candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Architectural Design and Execution: Define target architectures and oversee their execution across enterprise platforms. Drive the implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions that ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and optimal performance for mission-critical business flows. Partner with engineering teams to embed resiliency patterns (e.g., autoscaling, geo-redundancy, circuit breakers) and enforce alignment with TOGAF principles and internal enterprise standards.
  • Define Technical Strategy: Refine and evolve existing enterprise architecture roadmaps in line with TOGAF principles, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends. Adapt strategies to reflect changing technologies and priorities, guiding the effective use of platforms such as C#, SQL Server, Postgres, Azure, Kafka, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Establish and Champion Best Practices: Promote engineering principles that strengthen system resilience and service availability. Define SLO frameworks, reusable components, and observability practices to reduce operational overhead and enforce consistent standards.
  • Architect Cloud-Native Solutions with Security-First Principles: Design secure, scalable cloud-native architectures that meet regulatory, industry, and internal security standards while ensuring resilience and performance.
  • Enhance Observability: Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure comprehensive observability across infrastructure and applications. Establish system performance metrics and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using tools like Dynatrace to ensure operational excellence.
  • Mentor and Inspire Engineering Teams: Serve as a mentor for engineers. Lead training sessions, organize technical deep dives, and champion knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate team skills and promote a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Document and Institutionalize Knowledge: Create and maintain documentation and internal wikis to preserve architecture, process, and security knowledge, leveraging AI-optimized methods to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and continuously updated.
  • Evangelize AI and Agentic AI: Promote awareness and adoption of AI and agentic AI solutions across the enterprise. Identify practical use cases, guide integration into business and technology strategies, and champion responsible, secure, and innovative applications of AI.
