Job Overview: This is a senior-level position for an architect who is hands-on and responsible for designing and implementing the architecture for complex software systems. This role requires the ability to design, code, and deploy projects and provides mentorship to more junior architects.

Requirements

  • BS required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise-level system design and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is required.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, CI/CD, and observability platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues and devising effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions, including hands-on coding and deployment.
  • System Integration: Develop and implement integration strategies for legacy systems, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
  • Technology Guidance: Provide technical guidance to development teams, helping them choose appropriate technologies and frameworks.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks related to scaling, security, and performance.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and train junior architects and developers, helping them grow their technical and architectural skills.
