About The Position

Cognite operates at the forefront of industrial digitalization, building AI and data solutions that solve high-impact problems. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a pivotal, customer-facing member of the Expert Services Offerings department within the Value Delivery organisation. You will leverage your seniority and technical competencies to guide industrial customers in increasing productivity, profitability, reducing environmental impact, and cutting costs. This involves defining solutions and supporting integrations through to successful completion, particularly for complex, non-standard solutions requiring deep technical leadership. Through service offerings, customers gain access to technical expertise, advisory, and hands-on assistance in developing and implementing solutions on Cognite Data Fusion.

Requirements

8+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer/Data Engineer/Machine Learning Engineer
Technical background, willing and able to dive in and contribute code for advanced topics when needed
Hands-on in python
Good hands-on expertise with software development best practices
Highly organised, thorough, and communicate well with all stakeholders
Open to travel

Experience from domains like Manufacturing, Energy, O&G, Pharma, Life sciences

Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end architecture and solution design leadership
Offer strategic and technical expertise to support customers and customer-facing project teams
Define enterprise and solution architecture, including integration and data models, data ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions
Express complex technical solutions through architecture modeling tools
Ensure operational responsibility and support agreements for delivered solutions
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, C-level executives, and IT and Business Data Managers to drive long-term adoption of Cognite’s products and services
Train internal teams and partners in your area of specialization
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management teams to translate customer needs into product offerings
Independently manage integration, data modeling, and related activities using Cognite data connectors and extractors, SQL, Python/Java, Rest APIs, and Cloud platform providers like Azure, AWS & Google
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Product Management teams to turn customer needs into a prioritised pipeline of product offerings
Develop and maintain technical and business expertise for Cognite’s products
Take ownership and drive tasks independently
Collaborate, lead, and coach, as well as work independently
