About The Position

The Department is committed to providing high quality education services to all Florida students and requires IT Staff Augmentation services to assist the Department and Technology staff in meeting that goal. The Enterprise Architect will assist in developing specifications, overall planning and management of projects, provide status reports, communicate project progress, ensure technical direction and standards are followed, develop project plans, manage project documentation, understand tactical goals, participate in business solution development and implementation, manage project risk, manage change control, obtain sponsor approval for changes, and provide written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in administering and maintaining servers and FTP environments.
  • Experience in developing advanced scripts for automation/data processing is required.
  • Experience with FTP software
  • Experience with developing advanced batch processes.
  • Experience with various identity providers including Microsoft ADFS and Forefront Identity Manager.
  • Experience with Azure Active DevOps.
  • Experience with Entra ID and Azure B2C.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience developing in the .net programming language.
  • Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Azure administration experience.
  • Producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, or testing.
  • Experience with PowerApps application administration.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Possess advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Have excellent attendance.
  • Proficient in using and creating SQL queries.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing specifications as well as, overall planning and management of projects.
  • Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
  • Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
  • Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.
  • Develops project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.
  • Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.
  • Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
  • Manages change control within the projects.
  • Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path.
  • Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
