About The Position

The Wealth Management & Trust Domain Enterprise Architect serves as the strategic technology and architecture advisor for Pinnacle's Wealth Management and Trust business. This role is accountable for translating business strategy into technology capabilities, architecture roadmaps, investment priorities, and modernization initiatives that support growth, client experience, regulatory compliance, operational resiliency, and long-term business value. The Domain Enterprise Architect owns the Wealth Management and Trust architecture roadmap, business capability model, technology portfolio strategy, future-state architecture vision, and governance processes. This role partners with executive leadership, business stakeholders, product management, engineering teams, and risk organizations to optimize technology investments, reduce complexity and technical debt, improve technology resiliency, and enable scalable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Wealth Management and Trust domain architecture strategy, creating and maintaining multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles, risk requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and govern current-state, target-state, and transition architectures across business, data, application, integration, and technology domains.
  • Develop and maintain Wealth Management and Trust business capability maps and support of technology portfolios.
  • Identify capability gaps, technology redundancies, technical debt, and modernization opportunities across the Wealth Management ecosystem.
  • Represent Wealth Management and Trust interests within enterprise architecture governance processes, including oversight through the Pinnacle Architecture Review Council (PARC), standards management, exception reviews, and architecture compliance activities.
  • Ensure technology solutions align with enterprise reference architectures, security standards, data governance principles, risk management frameworks, and technology lifecycle policies.
  • Serve as the strategic architecture leader for Wealth Management and Trust platforms, products, services, fiduciary operations, investment management functions, and client engagement capabilities.
  • Ensure architecture decisions support evolving wealth management, trust administration, fiduciary, brokerage, regulatory, and investment product requirements.
  • Promote platform rationalization, service reuse, application modernization, and technology simplification to reduce operational risk and improve business agility.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define future-state operating models and capability evolution strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and digital capabilities, for applicability within the Wealth Management and Trust domain.
