DecisionPoint seeks a senior Enterprise Architect to provide architectural and systems-engineering leadership for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. The role evaluates current and target-state architectures across software, data, cloud, infrastructure, integration, security, and operations, ensuring proposed solutions are secure, interoperable, extensible, scalable, resilient, supportable, and aligned with mission priorities and applicable Federal and DoD standards. The position collaborates with Government mission owners, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, cloud and infrastructure teams, data teams, Agile delivery teams, testers, configuration managers, operations personnel, and program leadership. The Enterprise Architect leads architecture and systems-engineering activities, develops Concepts of Operations, translates mission needs into requirements, conducts technical trade studies, defines system and interface architecture, and provides technical inputs for rough-order-of-magnitude estimates. The position also develops transition architectures and modernization roadmaps; supports Agile delivery, integration, testing, security reviews, and operational readiness; and maintains architecture documentation and traceability. The architect communicates options, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders. This is a remote position, with Chicago-area candidates preferred. Occasional travel or on-site participation may be required for architecture workshops, planning sessions, design reviews, or Government briefings. Applicants acknowledge and consent to their resume being included in an active competitive government contract bid.
