About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an Enterprise Architect focused on the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to join its Enterprise Technology and Operations team. The role designs how technology systems and teams work together to deliver and manage technology, and improves the visibility of system and process architectures. It defines and aligns system, software, development, and delivery lifecycle processes with the technology organization's business strategy and objectives. The Enterprise Architect defines and manages architectural patterns for practices, processes, systems, tool recommendations, and data integrations to support an effective and efficient delivery lifecycle. The role guides IT teams in adopting those patterns and practices, gathers their feedback, ensures functional and non-functional requirements are met, and partners with the technology risk team to define and design lifecycle metrics and measurement. The position develops and documents solution architecture for stakeholder audiences, translates stakeholder concerns into requirements, and presents architecture work products to project and architecture review boards. It also supports system design, architecture governance, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Release Trains, and collaboration across technology teams. The role follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, Utah.
