About The Position

The Enterprise Architecture Leader role involves guiding the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives by leveraging existing, new, and emerging technologies. This leader manages the Architecture (EA) practice, formulates strategy, facilitates innovation, builds and maintains relationships, and orchestrates the delivery of business outcomes. The role requires extensive IT leadership experience, knowledge of various architecture disciplines, and strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills. This role will also oversee the Enterprise Architecture Data strategy and governance practice.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise data architecture, data governance, analytics platforms, and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Deep understanding of modern cloud data platforms, including Databricks, data lakehouse architectures, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or strategic advisory roles.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and data product operating models.
• Strategic thinker capable of learning new technologies and drive innovation
• Mastery level understanding in the areas of Information and Operational Technologies including security and performance management, CI/CD processes, Applications integration, ITIL and control system design
• Strong interpersonal communication and diplomacy skills, as well as a passion for leading
• Experienced technologist with solid understanding of agile and lean methodologies
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate between cross-functional global teams.

• 8+ years of professional experience in complex organizations
• Bachelor of Science degree
• 7+ years of experience in at least two disciplines with business, information, solutions or technical delivery

Responsibilities

• Manage the EA Practice: Develop value proposition and execute projects and technology designed using current EA practice and approved technical products
• Promote the business value of EA as an enabler of strategy formulation and innovation
• Create and mature the EA practice into an internal consultancy for subject matter expertise
• Plan and manage a talent pool of enterprise architects
• Ensure alignment to TOGAF principles and domains
• Formulate Strategy and Guide Execution: Understand disruptive forces and the business’s economic and financial levers.
• Facilitate business and IT alignment through a collaborative, supportive, and consultative manner
• Lead the analysis of business and operating models, market trends, and the technology industry
• Facilitate Innovation: Assess disruptive forces and identify technology-enabled innovation opportunities
• Track and apply innovative technologies and use agile and lean approaches to evolve and manage innovation
• Build and Maintain Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on business transformation, technology investment priorities, and organizational modernization initiatives.
• Translate complex business and technical challenges into actionable architecture roadmaps and investment recommendations.
• Facilitate executive decision-making through architecture assessments, scenario planning, and business capability analysis.
• Orchestrate the Delivery of Business Outcomes: Lead architecture involvement in enterprise transformation programs, mergers, divestitures, organizational redesigns, and digital modernization initiatives.
• Develop capability-based roadmaps that accelerate strategic business outcomes while reducing technical complexity.
• Drive alignment across business functions, data, applications, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Management of the EA Estate: Present gap analyses and/or IT investment roadmaps.
• Develop and apply standards and minimal viable architectures through the EA governance model
• Collaborate with agile teams and infrastructure and project teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture
• Proactively and holistically guide the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives
• Focus on understanding and applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models
• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice, including Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Technical Architecture, and Security Architecture
• Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures
• Define and manage master data technology budgets, projects and governance processes
• Responsibilities include hiring, managing, coaching and developing direct reports
• Identify, monitor, publish and manage goals and measurements to show improvements to the enterprise data governance
• Foster a culture of continuing education, awareness, and collaboration across teams
• Digital, Data and AI Strategy Leadership: Develop and maintain the enterprise-wide data, analytics, AI, and digital architecture strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Guide the enterprise roadmap for data modernization, cloud platforms, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled business capabilities.
• Establish target-state architectures that enable trusted, governed, and reusable enterprise data assets.
• Assess emerging technology trends and identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to accelerate business outcomes.
