About The Position

Sensiba is seeking a strategic and "hands-on" Enterprise Applications Architect to serve as a vital link between our corporate technology stack and our firm's strategic evolution. We are on a journey to simplify our systems and elevate Salesforce from a traditional CRM into a comprehensive CRM+ERP ecosystem, ensuring it serves as the backbone for our firm-wide operations. This is a senior individual contributor role where the ideal candidate will act in a "player-coach" capacity, reporting directly to the Director of Organizational Systems and Change. You will be the advocate for master data management, system governance, and the solution architecture for how corporate technology is implemented and integrated across the firm. You will ensure that our technical foundations are scalable and aligned with our long-term vision of an outcome-led growth model. Your primary mission is to act as the bridge between various stakeholders to ensure our business operating system is aligned and effective. You will collaborate deeply with the Director of Business Insights to ensure data fluidity, and the RevOps team to ensure they are empowered with a high-performance sales and marketing machine — all while maintaining firm-wide governance. Crucially, you will collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and their team to execute our technical vision, calling on product engineering support for complex "plumbing" and integrations. This is a business-centric role that requires deep technical fluency to manage our cost footprint and ensure our technology investment stays commensurate with our allowable cost per FTE. It's not anticipated for this role to have any direct reports. Your effectiveness comes from influence, credibility, and the ability to build followership across the firm without formal authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; a degree in IT or Technology is also welcomed.
  • Deep, hands-on, current experience in the Salesforce ecosystem is essential to this role; candidates without substantive Salesforce experience will not be considered.
  • A Salesforce Administrator Certification is required (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect track certifications are highly advantageous).
  • Significant experience in Business Systems, Solutions Architecture, or a similar role, with a track record of delivering, directing and quality-assuring the work of individual contractors or Salesforce professionals on projects.
  • Experience in a global Professional Services or B2B environment is highly favorable.
  • Strong understanding of professional services operations and accounting principles, specifically Bookings vs. Billings vs. Revenue Recognition.
  • Experience understanding how geography and multi-entity structures create unique challenges for business operations and system configurations.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or equivalent ERP systems is highly favorable.
  • Proven ability to manage and integrate corporate platforms including HRIS, Collaboration tools, and Financial systems.
  • You build followership and credibility across the firm without relying on formal reporting lines. Strategic Operations, the Business Insights team, and operational leads don't report to you — you get to outcomes through partnership and trust, not direction.
  • You look past individual features to see how a change in one system impacts the entire business operating system. You understand that scalability requires a "firm-first" mindset.
  • You are a rapport-builder who can translate executive strategy into technical requirements. You navigate the needs of different departments with diplomacy and a focus on aligned outcomes.
  • You enjoy being "hands-on" with the stack. You see the value in clean integrations and are eager to contribute to the technical foundations that make great insights possible.

Nice To Haves

  • A Salesforce Administrator Certification is required (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect track certifications are highly advantageous).
  • Experience in a global Professional Services or B2B environment is highly favorable.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for and design the solution architecture for all corporate technology. You will ensure that systems like Salesforce and Sage Intacct interact seamlessly to support our service lines and global regions.
  • Work as an integral part of the technical team, collaborating with the Chief Product Officer and engineering to maintain and evolve our data and systems ecosystem.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all system configurations, business logic, and integration workflows. Establish firm-wide standards to ensure platform users are enabled and set up for success within predefined guardrails.
  • Provide day-to-day direction on key projects delivered with third-party contractors, ensuring alignment with objectives, quality standards, and on-time, on-budget delivery. Not all projects will have contract resource assigned with some requiring the ideal candidate to roll up their sleeves and complete configuration themselves.
  • Partner with functional leaders across the firm to ensure our corporate tech stack supports the entire client and employee lifecycle. You will be part of the core team making critical "build vs. buy" decisions.
  • Own the logic that allows data to flow perfectly from a contract to an invoice, revenue recognition template, and billing schedule downstream.
  • Determine the most effective integration paths, deciding when to utilize out-of-the-box solutions versus bespoke middleware to keep our ecosystem performant and scalable.
  • Act as a "Critical Friend" to the business, monitoring our technology cost footprint and ensuring our systems facilitate the transition from traditional productivity metrics to value-based outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain the standards for data integrity and governance, ensuring that our systems provide high-fidelity insights for leadership decision-making.
