About The Position

ECS is seeking an Enterprise Applications Architect Lead - SME to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. In this role, the selected candidate will design and govern the enterprise application architecture, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and interoperable across both on-premises and cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for establishing architectural standards, data integration frameworks, and API strategies that align with DoD cybersecurity and data governance requirements. This position plays a critical role in guiding system modernization efforts and ensuring that enterprise applications meet the strategic objectives of the ARNG ENOCS program. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect at the Advance proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, GICSP
  • Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Extensive experience in enterprise application architecture within DoD or Federal IT environments
  • Proven ability to establish technical governance frameworks for application development
  • Demonstrated experience with system modernization and integration efforts
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures and secure information exchange
  • Ability to guide application architectures in alignment with DoD cybersecurity and data governance policies

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise application architectures that support scalable and secure solutions.
  • Lead and oversee the establishment of architectural standards and integration patterns.
  • Develop data integration frameworks and API strategies to enable secure information exchange.
  • Align application architectures with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF control implementation.
  • Guide modernization initiatives to ensure long-term technology alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Advise senior leadership and engineering teams on architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure interoperability of systems within the enterprise environment.
  • Govern technical frameworks that guide application development and modernization.
  • Support enterprise data governance requirements in alignment with DoD standards.
