About The Position

The Enterprise Applications Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team and will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s enterprise software application platforms, which allow attorneys and staff to perform their job functions from the office and remote locations, while proposing additional enhancements and new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments. This role will be located in our Global Services Office, located in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and proficiency in the administration and deployment of a wide variety of software solutions, including Microsoft Windows & Server, and a broad range of M365 applications
  • Knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applications
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm and work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance processes
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field or appropriate work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise class software installations and upgrades, training and technical documentation
  • Exposure to some of the recent AI tools that are available within a corporate environment (examples of these tools are CoPilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Harvey)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting software problems for firm users as they relate to firmwide, departmentally-driven technology projects
  • Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm, in addition to making recommendations to their manager regarding setting of standards for firm software
  • Producing training materials and delivering training to regional trainers, the Global Technology Support Center, and to end-users regarding specialized applications
  • Providing additional end-user technical support as needed
  • Keeping abreast of new technologies, reviewing appropriate periodicals and journals, and working with Practice Support staff to assess training and development needs
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
