About The Position

The Enterprise Account Executive role is for a consultative seller who can fix problems in the industry, not just sell products. This position covers the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and requires a Partner-first sales leader with over 8 years of experience selling to C-level, Director, and VP-level buyers in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate is a motivated team leader who builds and leverages Partner-first relationships and manages sales resources efficiently. A strong candidate will utilize a proven sales methodology, identify customer pain points, align solutions, drive business value, provide accurate forecasts, and demonstrate strong closing skills. A deep understanding of Third-Party Risk Management, Data Privacy, File Transfer and Network Infrastructure, Security, and/or Compliance is essential. Candidates must reside in the Northeast.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise software sales, including selling to C-level, Director, and VP-level buyers.
  • A consultative approach: you solve customer problems rather than push products.
  • Proven Customer and Partner relationships.
  • A history of consistent over-achievement.
  • Technical competence and experience with data protection technologies.
  • Experience in opportunity creation and the challenges of building a business.
  • A passion for winning, with a hungry and highly competitive spirit.
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with everyone.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel frequently.
  • 4-year degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Kiteworks, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales strategies and team efforts into targeted Enterprise accounts.
  • Sell to key stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, IT executives, and line-of-business executives.
  • Prospect new business by leveraging Partners, sales, and marketing resources.
  • Upsell and expand relationships across the existing customer base.
  • Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Create value for customers and use a solution approach to selling.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply the appropriate resources.
  • Use sales tools, including SFDC, to track activities and manage your business.
  • Maintain a predictable, credible forecast and sales process.
  • Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, and events, and deliver compelling presentations.
